I’m Matthew and I’m the President of this year’s UEAPride, formerly known as UEA LGBT. As a Peer Support Group, we’re here to help all students with anything regarding sexuality or gender identity be it yourself or regarding a friend. Whatever the problem or question, our trained Welfare Officers would be more than happy to help you and provide a welcoming ear. Everything is said in the strictest confidence. We’re also here to help you meet new people as university is a time where some first meet other like-minded people. We hold regular events to suit a wide variety of tastes ranging from lunches and BBQs were you can easily chat to people and relax to our popular club night Liberate!
